Most of these photos were taken at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, one of more than 60 sanctuaries owned by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. This one is their largest, spanning 2,800 acres with miles of weaving trails. My mom and I joined as members back in 2021 and have donated over the years. My favorite part about hiking the trails there, other than snapping photos of new species, is having birds land on my hand to take a seed.
