Inherent AI leverages AI avatars (such as in the video on the left) to redefine how coding is taught, and to make the field of computer science more accessible than ever before. A venture fund in the Cogo Labs community called Exponential Ventures (XPV) launched the avatar chatbot technology in the summer 2023, and now my fellow intern Yash Bolishetti and I are customizing the model into a world class coding teacher. We founded Inherent AI for two primary reasons:

The way that coding is currently taught is outdated. Rather than going through a standardized course curriculum, AI avatars will allow students to have an interactive and example based learning experience, while they move at their own pace. Not only will the student have the constant 1 on 1 attention of a coding teacher, but they will be able to design the avatar however they want for free.
Software development is English centric. Every recognized coding language is in English and uses the Arabic number system, making the field of software development extremely exclusive. AI avatars can break the English barrier in coding through live translation. Any piece of code, while still being coded in english, can be explained to the learner in their native language. The majority of the people on earth have internet access, but there are many people in low income countries who do not have access to a reliable job. Inherent AI allows them to pursue a career in computer science without attending college and then seeks to route them to US job markets through the power of the internet.
